About

I’m a programmer interested in functional languages, systems programming and retrocomputing. I’ve been writing Lisp on and off for over two decades and, more recently, spending time exploring and contributing to the Bitcoin ecosystem.

Earlier in my career, I worked in engineering, software architecture and technical leadership roles within really large organizations. Those environments provided the opportunity to learn from complex systems, experienced teams and ambitious technical work. Being able to carry some of that experience into open-source and independent projects today feels both valuable and rewarding.

This blog is a place to think through ideas in public. Most posts are technical in nature, though I try to write them in a way that remains readable without a running REPL :-D
